Privacy Policy

The following applications are published by Radon Developer on Google Play. This Privacy Policy applies to all of them unless a specific app provides a supplemental notice.

Many of our apps store content locally on your device — including your private notes, journal entries, expense records, habit logs, reading bookmarks, calculator history, and application preferences. This data:

• Is stored only on your physical device or your personal cloud backup (e.g., Google Drive backup, if enabled by you in Android settings)
• Is never transmitted to Radon Developer's servers
• Is not accessible by us remotely
• Remains under your full control and can be deleted by clearing app data or uninstalling the app

Some of our apps are available for free and are supported by advertising revenue. We work with multiple trusted third-party advertising networks to serve ads within our apps. Each network operates under its own privacy policy and data practices, which are detailed below.

• Advertising ID (GAID) — A resettable anonymous device identifier used for ad personalisation and frequency capping across all three networks
• Approximate location — Derived from IP address for regional ad targeting; none of our ad integrations use precise GPS location
• Device signals — Device model, OS version, screen size, language, and timezone for ad format selection and targeting
• Ad interactions — Whether you viewed, clicked, or completed a rewarded ad — used for billing and performance reporting
• App context — App name, bundle ID, and version to classify your app's category for contextual ad targeting

How to Opt Out or Manage Ad Preferences

All analytics data is anonymised and aggregated. We cannot identify individual users from this data. Firebase's data handling is governed by Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share limited and anonymised data only in the following circumstances:

In all cases, we share only the minimum data necessary and do not share your private notes, documents, financial entries, journal content, or any user-generated content.

Our apps are designed for a general audience and are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If a parent or guardian believes their child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at radon.developer@gmail.com. Upon verification, we will take steps to promptly delete such information.

We implement industry-standard security practices to protect any data associated with our apps:

• Device-side encryption for vault and private note apps (Scribu)
• PIN and biometric lock options for apps containing sensitive user content
• HTTPS / TLS encryption for any data transmitted between our apps and third-party services
• Minimal data collection as a security principle — data we don't collect cannot be breached
• Regular dependency updates to address known security vulnerabilities in third-party libraries

Depending on your location, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, and objection to data processing. Regardless of jurisdiction, you always have these practical controls:

Our apps are available on Google Play in multiple countries, including India, the United States, and the European Union. By downloading and using our apps, you acknowledge that limited analytics and advertising data may be processed by third-party services (Google Firebase, Google AdMob) in accordance with their respective policies and applicable data transfer mechanisms.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google's services rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for cross-border data transfers. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

For users in India, this policy is aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Since our apps primarily store data locally on your device and do not process significant personal data on our servers, the data fiduciary obligations under DPDPA are substantially fulfilled by design.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our apps, business practices, or applicable law. When we make changes:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top and bottom of this page will be revised
• Material changes will be notified via an in-app notice or a Google Play Store update description
• Continued use of our apps after the revised policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms
• Older versions of this policy can be requested by emailing us

To comply with the IAB Tech Lab App-Ads.txt specification and protect our advertising inventory from unauthorized resellers and ad fraud, Radon Developer maintains an app-ads.txt file. This file publicly declares which advertising networks are authorized to sell ad inventory within our apps.
